The council is currently reviewing its services and due to this review, the ‘Money to Move Scheme’ (the incentive scheme for Swindon Borough Council tenants) is now suspended until further notice.
The property reference number shown on an advertisement is a unique number given to each advertised property. This property reference number is NOT the actual house number. Under No circumstances should anyone call on properties they believe are advertised.
Due to the high volume of application forms received, we are currently processing application forms received in the middle of June 2010.
There is a high demand for social housing in the borough and most applicants seeking general purpose accommodation will experience a long wait to be housed. This is due to the high number of applicants already registered and who have been waiting longer in similar circumstances.
We always priortise applications of an emergency nature and also process applications where applicants are eligible for properties that are in low demand
