Who cannot apply

  1. Homeowners under 60 years old or who have a financial interest in a property (in or outside the UK)
  2. Those households that have sufficient income to purchase their own property.
  3. Those who are not a UK citizen or do not have leave to remain.
  4. Those who have deliberately moved to a property unsuitable for their needs with the intention of increasing their priority for housing.
  5. Those who are currently serving a custodial sentence in prison.
  6. Those who are unable to live independently who have no support in place.
  7. Those who have a housing related debt owed to a Council, Housing Association or Private Landlord.
  8. Those who do not complete the application in full.
  9. Anyone who has been involved in anti-social behaviour.
  10. Those who have no current housing need.
